At Pyrex®, avoiding food waste is of paramount importance to us, and we answer your questions about how to preserve your leftover fish while preserving its freshness and flavor!
When to store cooked fish?
Whether it's baked salmon, cod skewers or hake sticks, you can keep them - and you need to do it fast! As soon as the meal is over, put your leftover fish in the special leftover fish canner with its blue lid, and wait until they're at room temperature before refrigerating.
Where and how long can I store leftover fish?
Cooked fish can be stored in the fridge or freezer! In the fridge, however, it's best to place it above the vegetable crisper, in the coldest part. With stackable boxes like our Stop Gaspi boxes, you can organize all your leftovers in a minimum of space!
Cooked fish, properly stored in a Pyrex glass can®, can be eaten within 2 days in the fridge, or up to 3 months in the freezer. Keeping your leftovers fresh and tasty is the best way to preserve them.
