Macaroni and cheese

- 250g macaroni
- 250ml milk
- 30g flour
- 25g butter
- 200g cheddar cheese
- 1tsp mustard
- 50g breadcrumbs

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°c
Step 2
Cook the pasta as indicated on the packet.
Step 3
To make the béchamel sauce, melt the butter and add the flour. Mix well.
Step 4
Gradually add the milk. Mix until the béchamel thickens. Add the mustard and ¾ of the grated cheddar.
Step 5
Mix the pasta with the béchamel. Place in a gratin dish. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheddar. Bake for 30min.
Step 6
For the muffins, use the leftover macaroni. Pour into muffin tins. Mix a little breadcrumbs with butter to form a crumble, place it on the muffins and sprinkle with cheddar. Bake for 15min.
