France Relance
The France Relance plan is designed to enable France to regain its pre-crisis level of competitiveness and prepare for the major challenges of the ecological transition between now and 2030 and 2050.
One of these challenges is to meet environmental and climatic challenges and become Europe's leading low-carbon economy by 2050.
It is in this context that the French government intends to support and accompany the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from the industrial sector. In September 2020, a call for projects was launched to support investment in large-scale projects to reduce energy consumption.
Last July, Barbara Pompili, Minister for Ecological Transition, Bruno Le Maire, Minister for the Economy, Finance and Recovery, and Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister Delegate for Industry, announced 29 new winning decarbonation projects. These included International Cookware, for the high-performance rebuilding of our melting furnace in Châteauroux.
It's an honor to be one of the first winners, and to show that our Group is fully committed to this approach, in line with our #COP21 commitments.
