Golden scones from England, with the scent of fresh butter, ready to be enjoyed warm. A soft delight.
Ingredients

- 300g flour
- 2 sachets of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 150mL milk
- 70g butter
- egg + milk for browning

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl. Add the butter cut into pieces. Mix with your fingertips.
Step 3
Add the milk. Mix again with your fingers.
Step 4
If the dough is a little sticky, add more flour.
Step 5
Roll out the dough to about 3 cm. Using a 5 cm cookie cutter, cut out your scones.
Step 6
Place the scones on a baking sheet.
Step 7
Brush with egg yolk and a little milk.
Step 8
Bake for 15 minutes.
