    Cook or reheat your homemade dishes at any time thanks to our replacement glass base suitable for our Cook & Heat or Cook & Store storage box. Made entirely of borosilicate glass, it is therefore compatible with the oven and microwave and can even be used as a lid for your pans. Its material also allows it to be placed in the refrigerator. The exceptional quality of this lid lies in its manufacturing material, Pyrex® borosilicate glass. Resistant to extreme temperatures, from -40°C to +300°C, it can be safely moved from the freezer to the oven. In addition, its resistance to thermal shocks up to 220°C makes it a reliable ally for all your culinary preparations. It does not retain stains or odors, thus preserving the purity of flavors.

  • Usage tips

    How to use : Conventional oven (max. 300°C without lid), microwave oven if appropriate size, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.

    Never use :

    • Directly on a heat source such as a gas burner, electric hob, ceramic hob, grill or barbecue.
    • A chipped or partially broken dish

    Precautions for use :

    • Avoid sudden temperature changes:
      Do not:
      - Place hot food on damp or cold surfaces.
      - Immerse a hot dish in cold water.
      - Add cold liquid to a hot dish (if necessary, add hot water only).
      - Putting a cold dish under the grill
      A hot dish or its lid must always be handled with potholders or dry gloves to avoid any risk of burns.

    • Do not use sharp utensils.

    • Use in a conventional oven (without the lid) at temperatures above 300°C may damage the glass.
    • When using the article (without its lid) under a grill/rotisserie, leave a space of at least 10 cm between the edge of the dish and the heat source.

    • Non-sealed product, not suitable for transporting liquid food. Suitable for conventional oven without lid. Use with lid unlocked for reheating in microwave oven, as failure to unlock may result in deformation of the lid.

    Care instructions :

    • Wash before first use. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Dishwashing under abnormal conditions, such as excessive water temperature and detergent dosage, may damage the decor, glass and lid.
    • In the event of burnt or stuck food, we recommend soaking with soap and water once the dish has cooled.


    Although our glass is more resistant than others, it can break into several pieces or be chipped by repeated mechanical impact.


    Main causes of mechanical shock :

    • In the dishwasher: repeated knocks during washing if the dish is not stable in the dishwasher, or if it has been knocked before washing. Always check the condition of the dish before putting it in the dishwasher.
    • A shock or chip, depending on its intensity, can generate instantaneous breakage or the beginnings of a rupture that can lead to subsequent breakage.
    • In the cupboard: during storage, incorrect stacking or bumping into another dish can result in chipping or burrs that can cause breakage later on.

    Occasionally check for chips or dents.

Let yourself be enchanted by a carrot and spinach flan, a symphony of flavours and colors on your plate!

  • 1 bunches of carrots (keep the tops for another recipe)
  • Spinach shoots
  • 1/2 onion
  • 10cl of milk
  • 10cl of thick crème fraîche
  • 50g of flour
  • Olive oil
  • Pepper/salt

Recipe

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Step 2

Wash and peel the carrots, then cut them into rounds.

Step 3

Dice the onion. Brown it in a pan with a little olive oil.

Step 4

Add the carrots and brown for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 5

Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a salad bowl, add salt and pepper, add the milk and cream. Mix well.

Step 6

Towards the end of cooking the carrots, add the spinach shoots and let them cook for a few more minutes.

Step 7

Transfer the vegetables to an ovenproof dish and pour the egg mixture over them.

Step 8

Sprinkle with grated cheese for extra indulgence and bake for 40 minutes.
