Recipe:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix 200g flour, 150g sugar, a teaspoon of yeast, a pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons poppy seeds.
  3. Add 3 eggs one at a time, then 100g melted butter and the zest of 2 lemons.
  4. Pour the batter into your buttered and floured Pyrex® cake tin.
  5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until a knife blade inserted in the center comes out clean.
